New Reviews. References and Archives

A new Comic Con, and that means new collection of downloads are available...

As of Salt Lake Comic Con 2017, we are all caught up.  We have MP3 files for every quarter from 1st Quarter 2014 on.  Click onto the 2016 and 2017 links for all of the new goodness!

Also, we've updated the Reference page with a few new explanations. Click on the page link, and if you still have questions, post a comment with what you want added to the list.

Finally, we've added an Artifact section.  This will include clips and historical moments from GeekShow episodes no longer available for download and the occasional extra feature, like the riffing of Raiders condensed into one file.

Browse through all of the new sections and enjoy!

Welcome Newbies! Here's your homework!

Welcome to the wonderful world of GeekShow fandom.  We're all glad your here and want to help to bring you up to speed!

This site will allow you to learn more than you'd ever want to know about the GeekShow Podcast and the participants therein.  First, I've created a series of Year in Review MP3s you can download or listen to directly from this site.  All of 2014 is available now, with 2015 episodes coming soon

Second, I'm starting a GeekShow References page.  If you hear something on the show that sounds like an inside joke, a historical reference to another episode or just some bizarre "Blueberry" like saying,  you may find an explanation, along with the relevant podcast name/date so you can listen to it yourself.

Finally, the panelists asks us old-timers to recommend classic episodes that will allow you newbies to feel like you are one of us, one of us, one of us.   So here are a few that exemplify what GeekShow is all about in no particular order.  And mots likely there will be more added in the future.  All are available for download on geekshowpodcastarchive.com.

GSPC:LOL:RPG  - October 15, 2012
Recorded Live at Brewvies, Leigh DM's one of the craziest RPG sessions you'll ever hear.

The Lim-a-rita Saga February 10-24 2014
These three episodes live in infamy, where Jay went Full Whitaker on .

Pillowface Jenkins - June 23, 2014
Jay recovers from a night of partying after the LA Kings won.  He protects his eyes from the light with a pillow and a new character is born.  It also includes how GeekShow was in Harley Quinn #7 (Thanks, Chad Hardin)

The 2014 San Diego Comic Con Trip - July 27- August 3, 2014
Two back to back episodes that chronicle all of the adventures at SDCC.  It's the birthplace of Dr. Reefer, Airplane Rides, Jay and Frank Miller, and great interviews!

Dai San Show - November 17, 2014
It's the origin of Dai San Show, but it's a great example of how everyone can riff on almost any topic.

Save the Children - February 9, 2015

The GeekShow Motivational Series
Recently, there are a number of episodes that have dispensed great life advice to the listeners
Benadryl Cowboy - March 2, 2015 - If you want to succeed in something, find a nemesis and destroy them.  Also warns that Star Wars Episode 7 can't possibly live up to the movie you're creating in your head
Twin Suns Moments - April 20, 2015 - Find your Twin Suns moment, that life-changing moment in your life that guides you down your path.
WARBOY! - June 22, 2015 - While talking about the dearly departed Jeff Vice, the panelist use examples of Jeff's life on how you could make your life better.

RIP JMV - June 2, 2014
Probably the hardest episode to listen to (that's why it's listed last), but well worth it.  The panelists gather to reminisce about former panelist Jeff Michael Vice, who died a few days earlier from complications of a massive asthma attack.
